<\/p>\n<p>Japanese tech investor\u00a0<span class=\"QuoteInBody-quoteNameContainer\" data-test=\"QuoteInBody\" id=\"RegularArticle-QuoteInBody-1\">SoftBank<span class=\"QuoteInBody-inlineButton\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistContainer\" id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\" data-analytics-id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\"><button class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistButton\" aria-label=\"Add To Watchlist\" data-testid=\"dropdown-btn\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-addWatchListFromTag\"><\/span><\/button><\/span><\/span><\/span> was the best performer among major tech stocks in Asia, ending Monday&#8217;s session at 10% higher. <span class=\"QuoteInBody-quoteNameContainer\" data-test=\"QuoteInBody\" id=\"RegularArticle-QuoteInBody-2\">Tokyo Electron<span class=\"QuoteInBody-inlineButton\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistContainer\" id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\" data-analytics-id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\"><button class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistButton\" aria-label=\"Add To Watchlist\" data-testid=\"dropdown-btn\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-addWatchListFromTag\"><\/span><\/button><\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0Advantest\u00a0added 7% and 7.67% respectively. <\/p>\n<div style=\"height:100%\" class=\"lazyload-placeholder\"><\/div>\n<p>Memory chip behemoths and heavyweights on South Korea&#8217;s Kospi Index, Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix gained 4.5% and 6.42%, respectively. <\/p>\n<p>Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co, or TSMC rose 2.81%, while\u00a0Hon Hai Precision, also known as Foxconn, added 2.69%.<\/p>\n<p>Softbank, Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix have seen huge overall gains in recent weeks. Last month, Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix each crossed\u00a0$1 trillion\u00a0market valuation, while SoftBank\u00a0recently became\u00a0the most valuable company in Japan.<\/p>\n<p>The moves follow a risk-on sentiment amid expectations that the Middle East conflict could end soon, as the U.S. and Iran have reached a peace deal. <\/p>\n<p>According to Pakistan&#8217;s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday, both Iran and the U.S.\u00a0have agreed\u00a0to a deal, with both sides declaring immediate and permanent termination of military operations on all fronts. The\u00a0official signing ceremony will be on Friday, June 19, in Switzerland, he said.
