Apple also revealed that it is using a cloud model &#8220;comparable&#8221; to so-called frontier models with help from <span class=\"QuoteInBody-quoteNameContainer\" data-test=\"QuoteInBody\" id=\"RegularArticle-QuoteInBody-6\">Google<span class=\"QuoteInBody-inlineButton\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistContainer\" id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\" data-analytics-id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\"><button class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistButton\" aria-label=\"Add To Watchlist\" data-testid=\"dropdown-btn\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-addWatchListFromTag\"><\/span><\/button><\/span><\/span><\/span> and <span class=\"QuoteInBody-quoteNameContainer\" data-test=\"QuoteInBody\" id=\"RegularArticle-QuoteInBody-7\">Nvidia<span class=\"QuoteInBody-inlineButton\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistContainer\" id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\" data-analytics-id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\"><button class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistButton\" aria-label=\"Add To Watchlist\" data-testid=\"dropdown-btn\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-addWatchListFromTag\"><\/span><\/button><\/span><\/span><\/span>. <\/p>\n<div style=\"height:100%\" class=\"lazyload-placeholder\"><\/div>\n<p>But investors sold the news and Apple is on track for its worst day since February.<\/p>\n<p>Analysts reacted positively to Apple&#8217;s announcements and praised the Siri improvements. But some analysts said there weren&#8217;t many surprises, and that it wouldn&#8217;t be a short-term boost for the stock, especially since Apple didn&#8217;t commit to a release date for Siri AI, although developers can already test it out in beta software.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;While the company laid out a decent vision and some early personalized\/contextual AI use cases, it plans on releasing Siri AI beta later this year, with no concrete timing of a full release,&#8221; wrote Baird analyst William Power. &#8220;We think that&#8217;s contributing to the intraday sell-off.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"group\">\n<div class=\"RelatedContent-relatedContent\" id=\"RegularArticle-RelatedContent-1\">\n<div class=\"RelatedContent-container\">\n<div class=\"RelatedContent-nonCollapsibleContent\">\n<h2 class=\"RelatedContent-header\">Read more CNBC tech news<\/h2>\n<div class=\"group\">\n<ul>\n<li>OpenAI confidentially files for IPO, prepping Wall Street for mega AI debut<\/li>\n<li>Apple partnering with Google and Nvidia for most advanced AI model<\/li>\n<li>Silicon Valley&#8217;s new buyout playbook is hitting Wall Street<\/li>\n<li>Everything from WWDC: Apple&#8217;s big Siri AI reveal, Liquid Glass changes and more<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"group\">\n<p><span class=\"QuoteInBody-quoteNameContainer\" data-test=\"QuoteInBody\" id=\"RegularArticle-QuoteInBody-8\">Goldman Sachs<span class=\"QuoteInBody-inlineButton\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistContainer\" id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\" data-analytics-id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\"><button class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistButton\" aria-label=\"Add To Watchlist\" data-testid=\"dropdown-btn\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-addWatchListFromTag\"><\/span><\/button><\/span><\/span><\/span> analysts said that Apple&#8217;s integration of AI into its hardware could drive a strong product refresh cycle, but also noted that Apple has an opportunity to monetize AI through rate limits and subscriptions.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Some features, including image generation, have daily usage limits because they rely on powerful server models,&#8221; wrote Goldman analyst Michael Ng. &#8220;Users will be able to get increased access through most iCloud+ subscription plans, which should drive direct monetization for Apple Intelligence.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div style=\"height:100%\" class=\"lazyload-placeholder\"><\/div>\n<p><span class=\"QuoteInBody-quoteNameContainer\" data-test=\"QuoteInBody\" id=\"RegularArticle-QuoteInBody-9\">JP Morgan<span class=\"QuoteInBody-inlineButton\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistContainer\" id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\" data-analytics-id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\"><button class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistButton\" aria-label=\"Add To Watchlist\" data-testid=\"dropdown-btn\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-addWatchListFromTag\"><\/span><\/button><\/span><\/span><\/span> analyst Samik Chatterjee noted that Apple said its AI features would be delayed in China and Europe due to regulatory issues, and noted that it&#8217;s only being launched in English to start. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;While the fall launch of Siri AI in the US will be a significant positive for the holiday sales season, the future roll-out to other geographies as well as other languages will be a critical watchpoint for investors going forward,&#8221; Chatterjee wrote. <\/p>\n<p>Apple Intelligence may underwhelm consumers who have a lot of choices, wrote <span class=\"QuoteInBody-quoteNameContainer\" data-test=\"QuoteInBody\" id=\"RegularArticle-QuoteInBody-10\">UBS<span class=\"QuoteInBody-inlineButton\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistContainer\" id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\" data-analytics-id=\"-WatchlistDropdown\"><button class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-watchlistButton\" aria-label=\"Add To Watchlist\" data-testid=\"dropdown-btn\"><span class=\"AddToWatchlistButton-addWatchListFromTag\"><\/span><\/button><\/span><\/span><\/span> analyst David Vogt.
